How Pakistani establishment has been introducing criminal rackets in Sindh: An story of Don Golo of Sindh supported by the Punjab Government

Thousands of the Ghotki district residents yesterday protested on the call of Citizens Alliance against state introduced and supported thug "Don Golo." He is involved in the fraud cases. In fact, Pakistani intelligence agencies has started introducing a new brand of criminals in Sindh, particularly in the Punjab bordering districts of Ghotki and Kashmor, the districts that are in the proximity of Pano Aqil cantonment of the military. This trend is introducing a new brands of thugs and popularizing them as "Dons." One of such so-called and state backed Don, Golo, that has looted millions of rupees from commoners including the Hindu business community was not being arrested despite the pressure of the people.
Finally he was arrested last week, however was released overnight on the orders of Punjab Home Minister Rana Sanaullah. The recent reports say that another Don has also emerged from Kashomor district yesterday. It is the history of military led Pakistan over last three decades that whenever the Sindhi nationalist movement and resistance has emerged in Sindh, the Punjab led Pakistani establishment has introduced an organized crimes in Sindh through supporting criminal rackets in the province. Earlier in 1983, according to a news of daily Ibrat of that time, a retired Major of Pakistan Army was detained briefly from Sukkur and was released immediately after. He was caught in dispatching the arms and ammunition consignment to the decoits in the Indus forests of the province involved in abductions and murders of the wealthy Sindhis particularly Hindus. The recent intervention of Rana Sanaulla for the release of Don Golo as mentioned Sindhi newspapers last week, is a clear indicator of involvement of Punjab led establishment in organizing crime in Sindh. Besides, the release of detained criminal and thug in Sindh on the instruction of Home Minister of Punjab indicates the level of colonization of Sindh by Punjab.
