Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has lifted the ban on the recruitment of Intelligence Bureau (IB) yesterday. The ban on the IB recruitment was imposed by the authorities on the instruction of Supreme Court of Pakistan during Pakistan People Party (PPP). Such initiatives are the part of Pakistan politics since the end of General Zia ul Haq military rule , in which the recruitment in the civil security services used to ban under the tenure of Sindhi leadership led PPP in a bid to avoid Sindhis' recruitment in the security agencies of Pakistan.
