Previously it was popular in Pakistan that 'Allah, Army and America' are the powers behind the government formation in Pakistan. This term was coined by Benazir Bhutto during the elections of 1988 when an electoral alliance of right wing, 'Islami Jamhori Itehad' (IJI) was formed. The term in Pakistan has been replaced with 'Allah, Taliban and Establishment' as the ongoing elections are witnessing extensive violence and attempts for making pro-Taliban government out of the elections results.
