World Sindhi Congress (WSC) in a press statement announced its 25th International Conference on Sindh. The conference will be held in London on 9th November 2013. The title of the conference is ‘Road Map for Regional Peace and Security: Role of Sindhi Nation’. The conference will focus on the role of Sindhi nation in promoting regional peace, security and prosperity by neutralizing the spread of religious fundamentalism and antidemocratic political forces in the region. This is particularly of greater significance in the light of emerging regional peace and security scenarios of global dimensions. The role of Sindhi people could be pivotal as Sindh sits at one of the most important geo-political locations in the region offering strategic advantage in Middle East and Central Asia and Sindh is a natural resource rich country.
WSC is inviting academics, human rights groups, political and social analysts and policy makers from inside and outside Sindh to submit conference papers and presentations by 15 October, 2013.
