Despite legislation, provincial authority over higher education institutions still remains with the Governor Sindh

According to a report by daily Awami Awaz the governor of Sindh is still holding control of the higher education boards as well as universities despite the fact that Government of Sindh has already legislated over the issue, transfering authorities of the higher education institutions as well as universities to the elected Chief Minister of the province.
