The growers from Johi town district Dadu and Daulatpur Safan
town district Nawabshah have protested against water shortage in the areas. In
Johi town the protest rally was led by Ghulam Qadir Sheenh Rind, Mehar Gadahi
Imam Ali Rind and Allah Warayo Rodnani. In Daulatpur protest rally was
organized by Abadgar Action Committee. The protesters said that due to acute
water shortage, the agriculture crops have been damaged. They said that there
is also drinking water shortage in the areas.
Meanwhile, a protest demonstration was held in Kahirpur
Gamboh town against water shortage in the area. Led by Abid Shah, the
protesters said that there is acute water shortage in the Jeks, Oilpur, Khairpur
Bhangar, Sangi, Basran Two and other waterways of the area. Kahirpur Gamboh
town observed shutter down strike against water shortage
