A review of the largest provinces in the top four federations which are highly relevant to Pakistan reveals that Indian state of Utter Pardesh houses 204 million people (the number is more than whole Pakistan’s population), Chinese province Guangdong houses 104 million people (the number is more than each province in Pakistan), UK’s province England has 53 million population (equal to Sindh and more than Balochistan and KP) and USA’s California that houses 39 million residents (the number is slight lower than Sindh and more than Balochistan and KP) .
These four countries are very prosperous and stable even after having largest provinces of their continents. Iran has all provinces, old and the new, on the ethnic basis. Turkey is mostly two ethnic-nations – Turk and Kurds – country; therefore it is irrelevant to Pakistani federation. China and India both have provinces / states mostly on ethnic bases. None of the country around the world has any province for the recently migrated ethnic refugees. Therefore, MQM should avoid the fallacious and invalid arguments suggested by their Think-Tank. Governance depends on efficacy and justice in all social spheres.
