SIndh Govt. to omit word 'Scheduled Casts' for Hindus

The Government of Sindh has decided to omit word 'Scheduled Cases' for minorities in the province. This has been decided yesterday by the PPP led Sindh Government. It was also decided that all Temples and Churches in Sindh would also been covered through CC TV. Sindh Government's decision would leave grate impact on the demographic realities and the security of the temples of Sindh. Due to word 'Scheduled Cast' in the census formate, Pakistan state has been manipulating the data of Sindhi Hindus. The Hindu form over 6 percent population of Pakistan out of which 5.5 percent reside in Sindh; however due to the use of word scheduled cast, state has been separating the Shudra - lower cast Hindus - from the rest. Rest of the Hindus according to official data are 1.9 percent, which in fact does not include the Shudras (scheduled cast Hindus) that form majority among the Hindus in Sindh and rest of Pakistan.
