In a survey conducted by daily Sindh Express it has been
revealed that apart from 2.5 billion annual budget for civic amenities in
district, the residents of the district are facing severe shortage of drinking
water as well as absence of public health and hygiene facilities. What survey
did not mention is the fact that the district is oil richest district of the
country and contributes 26 percent in Pakistan’s internal oil production. In
survey, the social and political leadership of the district demanded the
