A water emergency has been observed in Sindh due to Punjab province's illegal and illegitimate theft of the river-water share from the Indus. Punjab has historically been stealing the Indus water. Punab and Sindh provinces have two centuries old conflict of Indus water. Like previously, the protests and objections by Sindh government became futile since the Center allowed Punjab to continue taking from Sindhi's water share. Due to acute agriculture water shortage, Sindh is supposed to face acute drought in the coming months.
