Two journalists from Qambar-Shahdadkot district of Sindh were kidnapped by unknown plain clothed armed persons. The incident took place while Jalil and Nazir were on their way back after working on a news story. The journalists in the various towns and cities of northern Sindh held protest demonstration demanding their immidiate release.
