At least eleven people, including a Shia lawyer and his two sons, were gunned down in Karachi on Tuesday, police officials said. Unidentified gunmen shot dead a lawyer of Sindh High Court and a noted ‘Zakir’ along with his two teenage sons in what appeared to a sectarian attack. The victims were identified as Kauser Saqlain, 45, and his sons Own Abbas, 15, and Mohammad Abbas, 12. Relatives said the terrorists targeted Saqlain when he was going to drop his sons to their school located at Maripur Road. Two gunmen, wearing trousers and shirts, intercepted Saqlain’s vehicle near a level-crossing in Macchar Colony and opened fire at it, added police officials. Read news details in daily The Nation
