Allegations ‘rig’ Karachi polls

Karachi was the focus for allegations of fraud during Pakistan’s landmark general elections, though the polling was transparent in most parts of the country. Mismanagement and allegations of rigging at various polling stations in the port city led some parties to announce boycott of elections there. All fingers were pointed to the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM), which denied rigging claims and came up with its counter accusations in this regard. Read full storry
