Protest rallies and token hunger strikes were held in the various towns of Sindh against the rape of a six year Hindu girl Wajanti in Umerkot district. On the other hand, it is also reported that the police is attempting to save the culprits in their legal process. Meanwhile, a news has published in the Sindhi dailies that the culprits have beaten-up a local news reporter in Umerkot district for his reporting regarding the case.
