An urgent meeting of the Federation of Commerce and Trade was held in Karachi, where it demanded the Prime Minister and Chief of Army Staff of Pakistan to intervene in the law and order situation of Karachi. They demanded the deployment of the army personnel in the city to protect the traders from the looter mafia. They made it clear that they doesn't demand for a martial law in the country.
