Murder of activist in police torture cause highway blockade in Sindh for six hours

Police arrested, tortured and killed a nationalist activist Altaf Khaskheli on October 4 in Khairpur Mirs district. He was actively organizing anti-local government protests in Khairpur district, which is home town of Sindh Chief Minister. After incident, thousands of people blocked national highway for six hours. The highway connects Punjab province and southern sea ports of Sindh. After six hours sit-in on the highway, a case was lodged against the culprit police officials. Read details in Sindhi
