Sindh Government has said that Federation of Pakistan is creating hurdles in the projects of Thar Coal and Noriabad Projects. In a briefing to the Standing Committee of Sindh Assembly Minister for Energy said that coal reservoirs are also available in Soonda, district Thatta, Lakhra, district Jamshoro as well as district Badin but the federation is interrupting Sindh Government plans. He said that federation is resisting the two projects of 200 MGW electricity in Noriabad, transmission line between Islamakot and Matyari, and at least 8 hydro-power project.
