People from across Sindh held twenty-ninth death adversary of Shahnawaz Bhutto, a rebel leader of democratic movement of 1980s in Sindh and son of Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto. The events, corner meetings, public gatherings and seminars were organized in almost all major cities and towns of the province. Shahnawaz was poisoned to death in Paris, France by Pakistan's intelligence agencies. He was the de-facto commander-n-chief of Al-Zulfiqar (The Sward) a militant outfit that was formed against military rule of General Ziaul Haque. He was replaced by his elder brother Murteza Bhutto, who himself was killed in Karachi by Sindh Police, then commanded by a Punjabi Inspector General from the military cadres. Read more in Awazi Awaz
