Various Sindhi nationalist parties has said that they would protect the Sindhi Hindus of Ghotki and Hindu population of Sindhi, especially of Ghotki should not leave Sindh due to fear of Punjabi supported builders mafia and extremists. On the other hand, Jeay Sindh Qomi Mahaz (JSQM) held a protest demonstration in Mirpur Mathelo, the district headquarters of Ghotki against threatening Hindus particularly the Punjabi builders as well as establishment supported extremists.
