Hundreds protested in Thatta and gave a hours long sit-in on the National Highway against the proposed scheme of Zulfiqarabad on the call of Jeay Sindh Qomi Mahaz (JSQM). Speaking to the a massive protest, JSQM Chairperson Sanan Qureshi said that Zufiqarabad Port was a conspiracy against Pakistan. He said that the terrorists and fascists among Urdu speaking community of Sindh are attempting to not only manage their rift with the native Sindhi people but also are planning to divide Sindh. He said that the honor of Sindhi women is not safe in the federation of Pakistan. He said in warning tone that Sindh was not a cake of Bombay bakery that every Tom and Harry would eat it out; it should be kept in mind that Sindh would give tough resistance against the conspiracies.
