Zafar Baloch, a prominent leader of the banned People’s Amn Committee, was killed on Wednesday night along with an associate near Bizenjo Chowk in Lyari when hitmen riding motorcycles riddled them with bullets, Geo News reported. The incident took place in the limits of Kalakot police. The police and PAC leaders said after after taking him to Lyari General Hospital, Zafar Baloch was moved to Aga Khan Hospital in critical condition. SSP City Faisal Bashir Memon also confirmed the death of Zafar Baloch. “Two men on a motorbike opened fired at Baloch and he was hit in the chest. His aide Muhammad Ali who also received multiple gunshot wounds died on the spot while Baloch died at the hospital,” he said. Read details in Daily The News Karachi
