Police and Pakistan Rangers troops along with armors raided the houses of Jeay Sindh Tahreek (JST) and Jeay Sindh Mutahida Mahaz (JSMM) activists in Malir, Gulistan-e-Jauhar and Gulshan-e-Iqbal towns of Karachi and killed four activists of JSMM and JST. Those who were killed include JSMM district Karachi East leader Zamin Shah, JST district leaders Sobhal Dahar and Umeed Ali Chahchar. On the other hand, Police and armed forces have shamelessly claimed of killing JSMM activists Afzal Panhwar in a gun-battle; however the reality is different as he was abducted by ISI and MI two years ago and Sindhi civil society had declared him an involuntary disappeared person. JSMM and JST has given a call for Sindh-wide strike today against the murder of the activists. World Sindhi Congress, in a press statement, has condemned the killing and has demanded the United Nation's intervention against the criminal act by Pakistan security forces.
