The Pakistan Peoples Party’s Karachi chapter president, Abdul Qadir Patel, has termed the killing of Saqib Boxer as an extra judicial act on the part of the Pakistan Rangers and has demanded the Chief Justice of Pakistan to take notice of extra judicial killings in Lyari. He was addressing a press conference along with Senator Yousuf Baloch and MPA Javed Nagori at the Karachi Press Club on Saturday. “Saqib was an international boxer who had represented Pakistan globally and earned a name for himself and the country,” said Patel. He alleged that Rangers had also killed Ismail Baba, a footballer from Lyari, about two and half years ago. Read details in Express Tribune
