The unknown terrorists, publicly believed to be associated with Mutahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) have killed five activists and injured ten passerby of Kachi community of Liyari district of Karachi. Kachhi community is Sindhi speaking people who migerated from Kutch area of Indian state Gujarat much before the partition of Indian Subcontinent. Kachhi form one of the largest chunk of Sindhi population of the city which is counted beyond 2 million inhabitants. Thousands of Kachi community persons, immediately after murders, protested against the killings and blocked Maripur Road in Karachi that connects Karachi port with Balochistan and Afghanistan.
