Sarabjit Singh attack: Manmoohan condemns assault, says it is a "very sad incident"

New Delhi: Condemning the attack on Indian death row prisoner Sarabjit Singh at a jail in Lahore, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh today said it was a "very sad incident."  Sarabjit, 49, was reportedly assaulted with bricks and a blade at the Kot Lakhpat Jail in Lahore on Friday. He is in coma in the Intensive Care Unit of the state-run Jinnah Hospital in Lahore.
