According to daily Dawn police detained more than a dozen activists of the All Pakistan Muslim League (APML) on Friday after their protest on Shaheed-i-Millat Road over the arrest of their party chief retired general Pervez Musharraf turned violent, as the demonstrators hurled stones at security personnel before snatching a pistol and walkie-talkie from one of them, officials said.
