Activists of leftist parties, journalists and civil society activists paid homage to Nazeer Abbasi, a martyr of democratic and rights movement. Nazeer Abasi was killed by the Pakistan Army in a torture cell under the supervision of Brigadier Imtiaz of ISI. He was leader of Democratic Student Federation (DSF), a youth wing of the than Communist Party of Pakistan. He was among the fire brand young leftish Sindhi leaders and was committed to bring about change. His death anniversary was observed in major cities of Sindh.
