Kandhkot Gas Field, like other Gasoline Extraction fields, practices negligence in employing locals and Sindhi. According to the detailed story by journalist Masood Soomro published on page 5 of Daily Kawish mentions that Kandhkot Gas Field is the second largest gas field of British Petroleum Limited (BPL) in Pakistan. The story also mentions that only 4 Sindhis out of 80 have been employed in the Field Officials Cadre.
