Taking one of the bold step on the foot prints of their poisoned leader Bashir Qureshi, the Jeay Sindh Qaumi Mahaz (JSQM) leadership took a "Aman Mith Mer Qafilo" (a Sindhi congregation of reputable persons of the society of engaging conflicting parties for the conflict resolution) in Liyari town of Karachi and met with Kucchi Sindhis and Balochs to resolve their conflicts. Thousands of Liyari residents welcomed JSQM Qafila, danced in the streets and chanted the slogans for peace in Sindh. The Qafila (team of reputable persons and veterans) met with the conflicting parties. Both of the parties obliged the request for ceasefire and engage in the talks. No violent incident took place after the peace initiative. JSQM leader Niaz Kalani said that some state supported factors wanted to create conflict between Sindhis and Baloch, which is not in the favor of the interests of Sindh.
