JSQM and JSMM carried week long protests in Sindh against enforced disappearances, extra-judicial murders

There have been an extra-ordinary movement in Sindh against the enforced disappearance as well as extra-judicial killing of the Sindhi nationalist activists. Jeay Sindh Qomi Mahaz (JSQM) recently held a three days long protest in the form of rallies, marches, sit-ins and token hunger strike against enforced disappearances and extra-judicial killings by Pakistani armed forces and intelligence agencies. Meanwhile, Jeay Sindh Mutahida Mahaz (JSMM) has observed five days long protest comprising rallies, marches, sit-ins and token hunger strikes. JSQM has been demanding the release of all political activists especially Waheed Lashari who was kidnapped by Pakistan armed forces intelligence agencies last week from Larkana. Meanwhile, JSMM has been demanding the release of all activists especially Asif Panhwar and Paryal Shah. Dozens of Sindhi nationalist activists have been killed so far in 2014 and more than 200 either enforcedly disappeared or arrested in fake cases by Pakistan Rangers, ISI and the Military Intelligence (MI). Most of these activist are / were associated with JSQM, JSQM-Arisar Froup, JSMM and Jeay Sindh Tahreek.
