The Executive Engineer of Begari Feeder, Sindh Irrigation Department has send an assessment report to the irrigation authorities that like during 2010 floods, Tori Dyke may also breach this year. In 2010, when the dyke was breached, it had caused a humanitarian catastrophe of displacing nearly one million people and inundating hundreds of human settlement in north-western Sindh.
