Engineer responsible for Tori breach promoted

Assistant Engineer of Irrigation Department Sindh, Nabi Wasan, who was responsible for the breach in Tori embankments of Indus causing huge humanitarian crises by flooding thousands of villages and towns and displacing nearly half of million people has been promoted to higher position despite being punished. It was rumor in 2010 flood that military has managed the breach at Tori embankment to protect Pano Aqil cantoment. Read news in Sindh daily Awami Awaz
