Sarabjit Singh's family arrives in Lahore


The family of Indian prisoner Sarabjit Singh who has spent 21 years in Pakistani jails and was critically wounded by his jail inmates, arrived in Lahore through Wagah Border on Sunday, Express News reported.
Singh, prisoner on death row in Kot Lakhpat Jail, was attacked by inmates armed with bricks. He was put on a ventilator as he fights for his life.
According to Express Tribune, a team of doctors is also accompanying the prisoner’s family, which will determine if the he should be shifted to a different hospital for better treatment.
Singh was sentenced to death 16 years ago on the controversial and widely rejected espionage charges.
