Bullet ridden bodies of activists |
At least three people were killed in incidents of violence which erupted in different parts of Sindh after bullet-riddled bodies of two activists 19 years old Sajjad Markhand and 22 years old Aamir Khuhawar of the Jeay Sindh Muttahida Mahaz (JSMM), a nationalist party striving for the freedom of Sindh, were found on a road in Dadu district on Sunday. The activists were abducted according to the Sindhi newspapers of Pakistan by Pakistan Rangers, a military unit, and plain clothed intelligence officials a few days ago from their houses. On the call of strike given by the JSMM various towns and cities of Sindh remained closed. Police and intelligence agencies has started operation against the activists of JSMM. JSMM was banned by the federal government of Pakistan recently, however Home Ministry of Sindh denied any action on the JSMM.
