The Sindh Government Committee on Liyari violence has mentioned in a report that a Karachi based political party was involved in supplying weapons to the terrorists in the area. Daily Awami Awaz has claimed without taking name of the political party, however pointing to the Mutahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) has said that the party has been supplying the weapons under the cover of facilitating relief in the area.
