National footballer, talented midfielder, entertainer, dancer, mischievous brother and loving son – these are some of the labels that friends and family had pinned to 15-year-old Shahzaib Razzaq, known affectionately as ‘Kodoo’. On October 11, Shahzaib earned another label: gangster. He was shot dead by police in Malir in an alleged encounter. Fellow teammates, coaches, friends and family refuse to believe that Shahzaib belonged to a gang or allied himself with gangsters. “My brother didn’t want to be part of a gang.
