Severe drought has hit the Thar Desert in Sindh. The Sindh province administration has admitted that the rain showers could fell optimum in ten percent area of the Desert, which has left the 90 percent of Sindh part of the Asia’s largest desert. Mithi, Umerkot, Sanghar, Khairpur and Ghotki districts of Sindh form the Thar district. Death of the several children has been reported so far in last couple of weeks due to malnutrition and associated disease. News in Daily Awami Awaz
