Protest demonstrations were held in almost all cities and towns of Sindh against military operation as well as other atrocities unleashed against the murders, involuntarily disappearances and detention of the Jeay Sindh Qomi Mahaz (JSQM) activists as well as the activists associated with the other nationalist parties. The call of the protest was given by JSQM Chairman Sunnan Qureshi. JSQM activists while talking in the protest demonstration demanded United Nations and international human rights bodies for its intervention in Sindhi against gross human rights violation of the peaceful political and civil rights activists and the dissenters quoted almost all major Sindhi newspapers. It was also estimated that thousands of JSQM activists and the commoners attended the protests.
