The Sindh government on Saturday announced its decision to carve out a Sujawal district from Thatta. The move will see the total number of districts in the province to swell to 28. According to a notification from the Revenue Department, the right bank of River Indus would now comprise of the old Thatta district and left bank will now come under the jurisdiction of newly created district Sujawal.
