Around 70000 Bugti tribal people were forced to evacuee area during the military operation in Balochistan in 2006-7 under the military regime of General Pervez Musharaf. They also carried a dead body of the resident who was killed in Islamabad while protesting for their rights. These displaced persons were residing in the northern districts of Sindh and Baloch majority district Dera Ghazi Khan of Punjab.
