Pakistan Muslim League led by former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif is all set to make a come back into power with a triumphant victory in the national assembly. Of the 272 national assembly seats there are good chances that the PML-N would capture more than 125 seats.  The majority mark in the national assembly is 137 and even if Nawaz Sharif's party fell short of that then there are many smaller parties and independents who will be happy enough to extend their support to PML-N. Cricketer turned politician Imran Khan's PTI is leading at the second spot, however, it will manage to win somewhere around 35 seats. The incumbent Pakistan People's Party of Asif Ali Zardari may have to satisfy itself at the third position with only 30-32 seats as per the election trends.
